Coding Girls

/*The future is STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. In the digital age, it is essential that more women acquire the skills necessary to work in the design teams of increasingly pervasive technologies and applications that require a mélange of humanistic and technoscientific knowledge. The “Coding Girls” movement sees universities, schools, organizations and allied companies to promote equal opportunities of coding, educating in a creative and conscious use of digital technologies.

Coding girls in Turin reaches its third year thanks to the collaboration of Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.

“I think it’s very important to get more women into computing. My slogan is: Computing is too important to be left to men”. (Karen Spärck Jones, British computer science and computational linguist)*/

Organized in collaboration with Fondazione Mondo Digitale (FMD) and women who plan the future.
